SmartKey: Re-Key in 3 Easy Steps
Required Tools
To start re-keying, ensure you have your functioning key, new key and SmartKey learn tool.
Step 1
Insert your functioning key into the lock and rotate it 90 degrees clockwise.
Step 2
Insert the SmartKey learn tool firmly into the SmartKey port. Then remove both the SmartKey and functioning key from the lock.
Step 3
Insert the new key into the lock and rotate it 180 degrees counterclockwise. Then rotate the key 90 degrees back to the start position to finish.
