It is recommended to test pool water weekly and make any adjustments to parameters that require them. This Bundle includes pH down to lower pH to a more neutral range of 7.2-7.6. The pH levels in saltwater pools tend to drift upwards due to the way chlorine is generated from sodium chloride. A neutral pH is necessary to allow chlorine to reach its best potential as a sanitizer or oxidizer. Keeping the pH 7.2-7.6 will also better protect a pool's surfaces and equipment from scale buildup. Salt Pool Test Strips are used to test salt levels (ppm) and test balancer and salt-generated levels.
