The data/voice modular plug crimp kit is a basic level termination kit for installers who occasionally terminate modular plugs. The tool is designed to be compact in size, yet provide a consistent and reliable crimp. The kit also includes 20 modular plugs for installers that are just making/repairing a few cables. The IDEAL Cat 6 single piece RJ-45 modular plugs are designed to simplify and improve the consistency of cable to connector termination of Cat 6 modular plugs to twisted pair cables. Anyone who has assembled traditional multi-piece Cat 6 modular plugs knows it is a time consuming and often error-prone process. This new design features wire ramps to help guide the 8 conductors into place without the need to use separate sled and liner pieces in the assembly process. The Cat 5e 8P8C (eight position/eight contact) modular plug connectors which support EIA/TIA standards for twisted pair cabling up to 100 MHz. Plugs are designed and manufactured to support all 100Ω cable wiring schemes including the widely used TIA-568A and TIA-568B configurations.
