What do I need to pick up my rental?

Bring a valid ID and credit card. You must be 18 or older to rent general tools. For any towable or drivable rentals, you must be 21 or older and bring a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Do you offer curbside pickup?

Yes. We offer curbside pickup and drop-off options. Upon arrival, please park in one of the designated Rental parking spaces, labeled R1 or R2. Call the phone number listed on the sign and tell the associate you’re outside and ready to pick up/drop off your rental equipment.

What happens if I damage a rental during use?

Normal use of equipment that results in damage is covered by damage protection coverage. You can opt for this coverage at the start of your rental contract.

Can I keep my rental past the scheduled return date?

Yes. Please call your local rental associate to extend the rental period. A cost-effective payment adjustment will be made based on how much longer you’ll need your tool or equipment. We offer four-hour, 24-hour, weekly and four-week rental rates.

How long do equipment rentals last?

Lowe’s Rental offers flexible rental periods, starting at four hours. You can extend your rental contract with ease for up to four weeks by contacting a rental associate at your rental location.

Do you require a deposit for rentals?

Lowe’s Rental requires prepayment on a credit card to start a rental. We’ll apply the amount to the total cost of the rental. The prepayment varies by equipment. Check out our online storefront for current pricing.

Do I need to return the equipment clean and with fuel?

Yes. To ensure everyone has a great rental experience, we require customers to return equipment in clean condition and with a full tank of fuel, where refueling fees are applicable. Ask a store associate for details.

Will the rented tool fit in my car?

Associates will help load rental equipment as necessary. For large equipment, Lowe’s Rental offers trailers as well as trucks, vans or box trucks in select locations.
