We'll explain the different types of Blackstone grills and some of the features to consider before purchasing.
Flat Top Grills
Make breakfast, lunch and dinner on a flat top grill. Blackstone grills have a patented griddle plate with built-in wind guards that uses less propane to maintain high heat. Standout features of some Blackstone flat top grills include: conversion to natural gas, a built-in air fryer and the ability to monitor the grill's temperature from your phone.
There are three sizes to choose from:
Small: These grills have a cooking area up to 449 square inches. These are recommended for apartments, condos or small homes that cook for 1-4 people.
Medium: These grills have a cooking area up to 450-549 square inches. Medium grills are great for families or those that occasionally entertain. A medium-sized Blackstone grill can accommodate 15 pancakes, 21 burgers or 18 NY strips at a time.
Large: These grills have a cooking area greater than 550 square inches. Large grills are ideal for the BBQ enthusiast that frequently entertains bigger groups.
Portable Grills
If you love to camp, hunt, fish or tailgate, a portable grill is a must. Blackstone portable grills are available with a collapsible stand and a hood, or in a tabletop version. The griddle measures 17-inches wide and the cooking surface covers 270 square inches. These grills can accommodate 7 pancakes, 10 burgers or 9 NY strips at a time.
Combo Grills
These combo grills have a pellet smoker and a griddle, so you can make breakfast, grill veggies and smoke meat at the same time. These versatile grills allow you to cook more food in less time, so you can spend more time socializing with your guests. They also offer plenty of prep space and storage for your seasonings, paper towels and utensils.
Lowe's will preassemble most grills. If it's available, select professional assembly as you're checking out.
