How to Apply Spray-On Frosted Glass Paint

For a clear border of 1 inch around the frosted area, place 1-inch painters tape around the outside edges of each pane with one tape edge against the wood muntins separating the panes.

Tape the individual muntins and mask off the frame of the door to protect it from overspray.

Follow the label directions to apply an even coat of frosting on each pane. Let it dry and apply a second coat. Even if you have to spray a third coat, apply the lightest possible amount with each coat.

After the last coat has dried for at least five minutes, remove the tape from the glass, muntins and door frame.

Reinstall your finished frosted glass-panel door on its hinges.

Spray two coats of frosting according to the label directions. After the final coat has dried, remove the tape and craft paper.
