But there’re lots of other creative ways to incorporate the shamrock season into your indoor and outdoor décor — from shamrock decorations and throw pillows to wreathes, novelty lighting and more. Here are nine decorations to provide inspiration.

1. St. Patrick's Day Signage

No holiday display is complete without a beautiful wreath. It’s a great way to add a bit of color and it can be used in a variety of locations such as on the front door, over a mantel and even above a console table display.

4. Whimsical Walkway Decorations

Another great way to communicate a sense of welcome to approaching guests is by decorating along a walkway. These adorable lawn gnome-leprechaun yard stakes add just the right amount of cheer.

5. A Little Flag Waving

If you want a bold St. Patrick’s Day décor item that passersby can see from the street, opt for a colorful flag. It’ll add lots of curb appeal and it can be mounted in minutes. Plus, once you’ve installed the mounting hardware, you can change the flag out as often as you want to celebrate any holiday.

6. Shamrock String Lights

7. A Welcome Mat with a Message

8. Mantel Merriment
