The multi-stream emitter is an ideal sprinkler for watering annuals in a flowerbed. The pattern is a full pattern gentle multi-stream that extends up to 3 feet at typical drip operating pressure of 30 PSI. You can decrease the spray radius, or even shut it all the way off, by rotating the multi-stream head clockwise. The multi-stream emitter has a 1/4-inch barb on each side which allows you to add sections of 1/4-inch tubing. For the last emitter on the 1/4-inch line you can either use a standard multi=stream emitter or a 1/4-inch plug. You can hold the emitter in place at each plant with a drip tubing stabilizer stake. You can either run 1/4-inch drip tubing from a drip manifold, a 1/2-inch drip tubing “lateral” line, or directly off the hose faucet with a 1/4-inch hose faucet x 1/4-inch adapter. On the last emitter in a 1/4-inch line, install a drip manifold cap on the outlet or use a multi-stream emitter with single inlet. Recommended operating pressure is 30 PSI. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.
