Liquid Rubber Cool Foot Deck and Dock Coating is a brush, roll, and spray on high-performance acrylic elastomeric coating that reduces heat transfer by up to 35% compared to regular paint. The Cool Foot Coating cures into a durable, seamless colored waterproof membrane. Our deck and dock coating is non-toxic, contains no solvents or VOC's and is non-flammable. The cured membrane has excellent solar reflectivity and UV stability and it can be applied on its own or in combination with Liquid Rubber Seam Tape to provide a dependable, protective waterproof solution. Application: Liquid Rubber Cool Foot Coating is applied using a brush, roller, or paint sprayer to provide a seamless and fully adhered membrane to most substrates. Ensure a clean, dry surface free from dirt, dust, silicone, and loose flaky paint; can be applied over paint or stain. Use wood cleaner to prep the surface. For extra adhesion, performance, and longevity, use one heavy coat of Multi-Purpose Primer. Drying time: the Cool Foot Coating fully cures in 24-48 hours at 77F/25C degrees and 50% relative humidity. Curing time increases in colder temperatures or higher humidity so environmental conditions must be considered before application. Do not apply below 50F/10C degrees.
