Winter Gem Boxwood is noted for keeping its good green color through Winter, while most boxwood have a tendency to bronze which makes them look like they have severe Winter freeze damage. Winter Gem also shows good resistance to the main pests of boxwoods. This boxwood variety is trouble-free, low care and with an occasional shear you can maintain the form you like. Grows 2 to 3 feet tall and wide. Neither deer nor rabbits will eat Winter Gem.
