These Prime-Line E 2478 horizontal bit key Locksets are constructed of diecast metal and stamped steel components. The housing and keeper come in a black-painted finish, and the door knobs and rosettes come in a brite brass-plated finish to match other existing brass-finished hardware in the home. These types of locking devices are mortise pockets to be drilled into the door panel edge. All systems are keyed-alike. Keyed different are not available. These locksets are for use on interior doors only, but they cannot be mounted on doors with pre-bored holes for modern-day door knobs.
