Black Barlow Columbine adds a touch of moody sophistication to your garden. This handsome perennial develops fully double, upward facing blooms in a dark plum-purple, almost black hue. Its delicate foliage adds a soft, fernlike texture even after the flowers fade. The fully double blooms are almost completely spherical, and butterflies adore the outward-facing flowers, but deer won't bother them. A perennializing variety, it will reliably reappear yearly.
