This Ilex features petite evergreen leaves that are burgundy red at the end of the branch and green towards the inside. In winter, the foliage takes on a dark green hue. This holly is naturally compact and grows to 3 Ft. H x 3 Ft. W. use the Bordeaux holly in a border, mass planting, coastal planting, or low hedge. This Ilex is hardy from USDA Zones 7 - 9. plant in full sun for best results. Water 2-3 times per week for the first growing season; however, once established, this is a water-wise selection.
