The Hardy Daisy gardenia lives up to its name, as it’s one of the hardiest gardenia varieties around. Single-form white blooms with golden centers appear in late spring through summer. The foliage is glossy and dark green coming to a soft point on the end. This variety is slow-growing, and reaches 2 to 3 Ft. tall and wide. Use it as a border, container, mass planting, or low-hedge. Hardy in USDA Zones 7-10, and prefers full to partial sun. Plant in rich acidic soil with good drainage for best results. Water 2-3 times per week for the first growing season. Fertilize yearly in spring with an acidic plant fertilizer.
