AcuRite Digital Weather Station Wireless Outdoor Sensor with Temperature Humidity

This AcuRite wireless home weather station features a large display to exhibit the indoor/outdoor temperature, the forecast 12 hours from your current conditions, and the date and time thanks to an internal atomic clock. This digital weather station uses patented self-calibrating technology to generate a weather forecast by combining the data gathered by a remote temperature sensor in the backyard with the display’s built-in barometer readings. This personal weather station reading provides you with a much more local forecast than one you’d see on the news, which is often pulled from your nearest airport. The colorful, easy-to-read LCD screen includes current indoor and outdoor temperatures with daily high and low readings and an atomic clock and calendar — perfect for use in the home, office, or even in your basement weather center. The atomic clock and calendar are radio-controlled to maintain the correct time and date with split-second precision. The weather clock automatically adjusts for daylight saving time. The indoor weather station display uses an integrated foldout stand for tabletop use or an integrated keyhole hanger for easy wall mounting. The remote outdoor sensor features powerful 433 MHz wireless technology, a light indicating it’s sending data to the display, and an integrated hanger for easy outdoor mounting. The indoor weather display is AC powered and also takes three (3) AA batteries (not included) for optional backup in case of a power outage, and the outdoor wireless sensor is powered by two (2) AA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included, lithium recommended for use in temperatures below -4 °F (-20 °C)).
