A tough, heat-loving, compact shrub, ‘Petite Pink’ is a perfect oleander for small spaces. Easily kept to 4’ tall, ‘Petite Pink’ makes a great, incredibly colorful medium hedge or privacy screen, bearing showy blush-pink flowers for three seasons. Use as a specimen or in a grouping near patios or entryways, borders, beds, or in a container. Fast-growing and evergreen, it will fill up bare spots with dependable green and pink pizzazz. The pink flowers have yellow throats; the leaves are leathery and narrow. Once established, oleanders like ‘Petite Pink’ are very drought tolerant, making them quite suitable for xeriscape gardens. Note that all parts of the plant are toxic if eaten. Take care when pruning. Deadheading promotes more flowering. Grows to 4’ high and 6’ wide. Not picky about soils but well-drained soil is best. Low to medium water needs. Provide full sun. Flowers spring to fall. Hardy to Zone 9/20 degrees F.
