A 3 sided aluminum oil-rubbed bronze valance is included to help protect your shade when not in use, extending the life of your fabric. The valance also allows for easy installation, as our mounting brackets can attach anywhere along the length of the valance. These shades are powered by a rechargeable motor with a battery life of up to 150 cycles (up and down). The battery recharges in approximately 8 hours with the included 8’ DC charger.
