CANTEX 1 -Gang PVC Old work Switch/Outlet Electrical Box

CANTEX customers have been asking us to improve the design of the EZ14SO 1-gang, old work, electrical switch and outlet box, and we listened. The EZ14SO EZ BOX is a 1-gang, 14 cu. in., old work, PVC electrical switch or outlet box for residential or light commercial renovation projects. This 1-gang electrical box has EZ mount flanges, winged swing tabs and 4 built-in integral wire clamps. All these components are designed to make installation easy and cost-effective. Although this PVC electrical box design has some decidedly notable features, customers had been telling us it would be easier to install if it had straighter lines for tracing the box shape onto drywall. As a result, our engineers got to work and produced a better design. The new CANTEX design now provides a guide for a straight outline of this single gang electrical box. We have added two extensions to the top and bottom of the box. These extensions make straight outline, so no template is needed. Simply trace the shape of the box and cut.
