The large blooms have red stamen and a dark purple streak develops on the mid-rib of each petal as the flower matures. The large flowers, bloom outward in a classic shape, and when planced at the back of the garden, creates a wall of gorgeous color that will kick of the start of your clematis blooming season beautifully.
