The Autumn Lily Encore Azalea is a hardy and prolific plant that can thrive in many different regions. This flowering azalea produces single white blooms with occasional purple stripes on deep green foliage. This is one of the most cold-hardy Encore Azalea shrubs able to thrive down to USDA zone 6a up to zone 10. Autumn Lily is one of the larger Encore Azaleas reaching a mature size of 4.5ft tall x 4ft wide. Encore Azaleas will grow best in slightly acidic soils (pH 5.5 to 6.5) and when planted in a location that will receive 4-6 hours of sunlight per day. When planting, dig a hole that is twice the width of the pot you are planting and deep enough to be resting at least 0.5 inches above ground level. Use a well-draining garden soil mixed with your native soil to backfill the hole around your new azalea. To maximize your Encore Azalea's flowering capabilities, apply a slow-released slightly acidic fertilizer each Spring. ---------- This item includes Two 1 Gallon Encore Azalea Autumn Lily (live plants) in plastic pots with soil.
