This rope has a twisted (or laid) construction that gives it greater strength than braided ropes of the same size. The opposing twists in fibers and rope give it structural integrity, but make it more susceptible to abrasion damage. Nylon has great strength and shock load resistance, handles easily, and resists sunlight better than all other synthetics. BoatTector Twisted Nylon Lines will not float. This product is intended for non-critical consumer applications. Not to be used for overhead lifting, or in applications with a risk of death, personal injury or property damage.
