The magazine has a multi-position tray that adjusts to hold plastic collated nails from 1-1/4 In. to 2-1/2 In. and wire collated nails from 1-3/4 In. to 2-1/2 In., and the nose of the nailer has a magnet to keep the coil of nails in the correct position for firing. Using coil nails means you have more nails to work with before you need to reload, and a quick look through the transparent bucket makes it easy to check if your fasteners are running low.
