The WL550 is a penetrating, matte wet look water repellent sealer for unsealed concrete, brick, flagstone, slate, natural stone, and masonry. It penetrates deep into the substrate where it chemically reacts to form a hydrophobic barrier within the pores that reduces surface water absorption by up to 95%. It will slightly darken the surface to enhance any dull and faded coloring. The WL550 is made from high quality, non-recycled, US manufactured resins. It works entirely below the surface and won’t leave a surface film. By reducing water absorption, damage and deterioration caused by water absorption will also be reduced, such as cracking, pitting, mold, mildew, algae, and staining.
