The GE Q-Line dual funtion breaker (DFCI) prevents against both Ground Faults and Combination Arc Faults. The GFCI protects against overloads, short circuits, and ground faults preventing electrical shocks. The arc fault is designed to eliminate arc faults preventing damange or fires that can result from arcing and sparking arising from deteriorated wires, poor connections and breaches in wire insulation. It comes equipped with a push button self test and LED light codes for troubleshooting trips. The GE dual function breaker is rated at 10 kAIC. It accepts wire sizes of #14-8 AWG. They are UL Listed, cUL Listed and NEMA Approved. The GE Q-Line Dual funtion Arc Fault/GFCI breaker is compatable with GE PowerMark & the new ABB ReliaHome panels and Meter socket load centers. The GE brand will be transitioning to ABB.
