Music Garlic bulb is wonderfully complex, mildly hot, has a rich and musky flavor that has garlic lovers singing its praises. This hardneck variety is a very cold tolerant, porcelain type that stores for 9 to 12 months. It produces high yields of easy to peel cloves that are often tinged with pink to purple hues. Like other hardneck garlic varieties, Music Hardneck Garlic performs best in cooler climates and is best planted in the fall. In early summer, it produces scapes that add a mild garlic flavor to recipes. These curly stalks are also sometimes used in floral arrangements.
