Samyl Elderberry is a vigorous plant with purplish black berries in large clusters. In early Summer it is covered with gorgeous little white flowers. Then, from August to September, it produces a heavy yield of berries. This cultivar from Denmark grows particularly high-quality flowers and is even more productive than Samdal when in season. Its berries are ideal for jellies, juices and cordials. They are high in anthocyanins. Plant more than one variety to ensure pollination.
