97/3 lead-free rosin core tin-copper solder is formulated for electrical and electronic applications where corrosive flux residue must be avoided. This solder contains a non-corrosive inner core of flux so separate flux application is unnecessary. It is primarily used for soldering copper wire in electrical connections. It has a low melting point and narrow melting range to reduce heating time with a melting temperature of 445F. 97/3 rosin core solder is lead and antimony free. It is often used for speaker wires, motors, generators and appliance repairs, as well as general electronic repairs. Complies with the EU Reach and RoHS directive.
