Sterling® lead-free solid wire solder is formulated for plumbing and other applications where lead-bearing solders are prohibited. It has a low melting point, yet provides a melting range ideal for filling and capping solder connections. It meets or exceeds the requirements for lead-free plumbing solder set forth in the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. It is 100% environmentally safe with no antimony, lead or nickel. The kit includes .118" (3.0mm) 4oz. spool of solid wire solder, 1oz. (28.4g) lead-free water-soluble flux, 6" abrasive sand cloth and 2-1/4" multi-purpose flux brush.
