Repair cracked and chipped firebrick or re-point mortar into masonry-to-masonry joints that are less than 1/4-in with this Imperial stove and fireplace mortar. Suitable for indoor use only, the mortar withstands maximum temperatures up to 2000°F once cured and dries as hard as firebrick. Ensure surface and surrounding areas are clean of dirt and debris and lightly dampen surface with water before applying. Once applied, allow the mortar to air dry for 24 hours before creating a low fire and gradually increasing heat to properly cure.
