The KNIPEX new england-style Lineman's pliers feature a high leverage design that requires 40 percent less effort compared to conventional combination pliers. It offers a cable puller in the joint gap and with universal mandrel crimping point below the joint. The cross-hatched serrated gripping zone provides firm gripping and pulling (such as for fencing applications). Other features include a gripping zone below the joint for powerful leverage, long cutting edges for cutting flat cables, a fish tape puller in the joint gap, and a crimping area blow the joint. The cutting edges are induction hardened, with a cutting edge hardness of approximately 64 HRC that can cut soft and hard wire. The tool is made of vanadium electric steel; forged, oil hardened.
