The Kobalt 6-1/2-In Circular Saw Kit features the latest innovations in electronics and brushless motor technology to deliver a high performing saw in a compact size. The saw features a left hand blade configuration for clear line of sight to the blade, maximizing the user's productivity and accuracy. The saw features an quick-depth blade adjustment mechanism which allows the user to make fast adjustments when cutting various material thicknesses allowing the user to work faster between cuts. The durable helical gear design is backed by the powerful brushless motor which produces up to 5500 RPM, delivering the torque to tackle many applications such as carpentry, framing, and finish work. It is equipped with an electric brake to stop the blade quickly after the trigger is released to maximize battery runtime and reduce risk making accidental cuts. The compact structure, aluminum upper and lower guard, and aluminum shoe make this a lightweight saw, great for all day use. The saw has a 0-50 degree bevel capacity along with 2-3/16-inch depth of cut at 90 degrees and 1-5/8-inch depth of cut at 45 degrees.
