Liquid Rubber Multi-Purpose Primer is a high performance engineered bonding aid formulated to improve the adhesion of Liquid Rubber membranes to a variety of substrates. Our Multi-Purpose Primer is a single component composition suitable for easy and safe application to numerous surfaces including concrete, wood, and high-density polyethylene by means of brush, rollers, or spray equipment. Our Multi-Purpose Primer reduces peeling, flaking, and vapor drive from substrates. Application: Liquid Rubber Multi-Purpose Primer may be applied as a single component system using either manual or spray application methods. Manual application can be carried out using a conventional brush or roller equipment, or alternatively, the product may be sprayed using a delivery system and nozzle appropriate for the viscosity of the material. Apply 1-2 coats depending on surface. The recommended coating thickness is between 4-5 mils DFT (.01 mm). For best results, the Multi-Purpose Primer should be applied to a dry surface that is free of anything that would hinder adhesion. Do not apply if rain is forecasted within 24 hours. Drying Time: Curing time will vary depending on the temperature and relative humidity. Typically, Multi-Purpose Primer will be dry to the touch and ready for top coating within 1-2 hours at 20C/68F.
