Grate is made of solid brass and the collar is made of polyvinyl chloride, a type of plastic. The 4 inch Round Drain Grate has an open surface area of 5.3 sq. inch and flow rate of 16 GPM. Connects to 3 inch sewer and drain pipe and 4 inch sewer and drain fittings for a soil-tight fit. The pipe grate is ADA Compliant and heel-proof. The brass drain grate is built to stand up to the elements, and the PVC collar is made with a combination of virgin and recycled content treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from the sun. As part of a complete drainage system, the grate blocks leaves and debris as water enters drain pipes.
