Drip manifolds are engineered to take one or more lines of 1/4-inch “blank” (meaning no emitters are pre-installed) or emitter tubing out to each plant or area of the garden. They are available in both full-flow and flow-control versions. Full flow manifolds are acceptable for longer runs of emitter tubing or where each emitter is pressure compensating. Flow control manifolds are appropriate for micro-sprinkler, micro-bubblers and non-pressure-compensating drip emitters. The most common installation method is to mount the drip manifold on a 1/2-inch male pipe thread (MPT) PVC riser, unthread the black cap from a 1/4-inch barb, and then slip 1/4-inch drip tubing over the barb. The black cap has 10-32 threads and can serve as a cap for multi-stream inline emitters. The green port elbows rotate for optimum positioning. Compatible with 1/-inch drip tubing from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands. Recommended operating pressure is 25-30 PSI. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.
