The Prova PA2 brushed aluminum side mount post provides a 36-inch-high railing with 8 levels of horizontal infill. Prova posts are configured to work with both Prova stainless-steel tube infill and Prova stainless-steel cable infill. Both tube and cable infill spacing are under 4 inches for residential code compliance. Prova posts are constructed of a single piece of extruded aluminum. Post mount base, handrail connector, and infill fittings are constructed of steel with a gray painted finish. Installation can be accomplished with common household tools. Posts can be installed into wood, composite, or concrete backing with appropriate fasteners. Due to the various types of backing unique to each customer’s project, hardware is not included.
