This Powermatic 6-Inch Jointer features a helical cutterhead with 40 four-sided, indexable carbide inserts, delivering a superior finish and quieter operation compared to conventional cutterheads. The inserts require no adjustment once installed—simply rotate for a fresh edge if an insert becomes nicked.

Oversized infeed and outfeed tables are mounted on dovetailed ways, and the 38-inch fence includes positive stops at 90 degrees, and 45 degrees both right and left. The infeed table's fine/quick adjustment lever allows for fast, precise depth-of-cut settings. Powered by a 1-HP motor and a non-slip V-belt drive, this jointer offers maximum performance. The 4-inch dust port connects easily to any dust collection system.
