This desert bronze trough planter is made with rust resistant steel and lined with a patented AquaSav coconut liner. The basket is 30" long and 8" deep, designed to hold 5G of soil. The planter comes with 2 brackets to easily attach the planter to a window or deck rail. The patented AquaSav smart coco liner is made with pest and fungi resistant natural coconut liners. AquaSav coco liners are is designed hold water, reduce the frequency of watering, conserve nutrients in soil and allow roots to breathe in a natural eco system. AquaSav liners are made with natural coconut fibers and natural latex to be eco-friendly. The liners allows roots to breathe, thus promoting a healthy root system. The plants thrive in the natural environment and grow vigorously to produce stunning results through out the season. AquaSav coco liners are engineered to be smarter than ordinary coconut fiber liners. The liners are layered with natural coconut fibers and latex and with water-tray sandwiched between the layers. This technology creates a self watering basket with built-in water tray that allows just the right amount of water to remain in the liner, giving the soil and roots time to absorb all of the moisture and nutrients. Because the layer of plastic only goes two-thirds up the sides of liner, there is natural air circulation around the plant's root system, promoting healthy growth. As the basket dries from the top down, water wicks its way through the basket, keeping the soil moist between waterings, keeping the basket from drying out. This combination allows gardeners to reduce watering frequency by 50% and grow and enjoy beautiful hanging baskets by without "baby-sitting" the baskets.
