This multipurpose mailbox lock is constructed of diecast and comes with a nickel plated face. A security feature of this lock prevents the key from being removed when in the unlocked position. This feature prevents you from forgetting your key in the lock, while at the same time ensuring the mailbox is locked. Each package includes 1 zinc plated steel cam, brass pins, a spring steel locking clip and 2 keys. To unlock this mailbox lock, the key must rotate 90 degrees in a counter clockwise direction. This mailbox lock replaces a variety of original manufacturer’s locks, specifically those manufactured by American Device, Florence, Miami-Carey, Bommer, and Auth Electric.
