Prime-Line part F 2932 contains a pair of spring-loaded Tilt Latches and easy-to-follow installation instructions. These tilt latches install on single- and double-hung vertical sliding, tilt-in vinyl sash panels. Vertical sliding windows with tilt-in sash allow for easier cleaning of hard-to-reach exterior glass surfaces. Each latch is constructed of injected molded plastic and they are equipped with corrosion-resistant, long-lasting steel springs. These latches keep each vertical sliding panel locked into their respective paths of travel. Simultaneous disengaged latches allow the sash to tilt inward for thorough cleaning, or tilted in then rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise for easy removal of the sash from window frame. Prime-Line tilt latches like these are used nationwide, but they are typically found in homes and apartments in Georgia, Illinois, New jersey and Ohio. Each package includes one right-hand and one left-hand latch. These latches are used by many to replace damaged or missing tilt latches and they are easy to install.
