Heart of the Jungle Elephant's Ear is a tropical plant with thin, spindly stems that allow the massive leaves to spread out in a wide arc and gracefully hang above the center. This habit can allow for fantastic planting combinations when lower-growing plants are placed so that Heart of the Jungle's leaves hang over them. Don't be afraid to plant Heart of the Jungle alone, though, as it still looks just as elegant by itself. This award winner is an annual in most zones, but will be perennial in zones 8 through 11.
