Grow a lawn to be proud of with Scotts® Pursue™ Buffalograss. This natural seed is a lower-growing prairie grass native to North America. It is naturally drought-tolerant and withstands prolonged heat (once established). Scotts® Pursue™ Buffalograss can be used to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing Buffalograss or Blue Grama lawn. Plant new seed in the late spring or early summer when air temperatures are 70° to 90°F. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product (please refer to spreader settings on product label). Lightly water the seededbed daily. Continue this frequent watering for 2 weeks after seed germination. For best results, apply a fertilizer once or twice per year in the spring or summer. The grass can be left unmowed or mowed to a height of 3 to 4 inches. Buffalograss grows to about 6 inches in height and requires full sun. A 1 lb. bag of Scotts® Pursue™ Buffalograss has a new lawn coverage of 250 sq. ft. and an overseeding coverage of 500 sq. ft.
