This aluminum channel kit combined with the slip fence post kit (sold separately) provides a strong, long-lasting framework for your horizontal fencing project. Once the posts are set in concrete, these channels attach to the posts vertically with stainless screws (provided). Once the framework is installed, you slip in 5/4" deck boards (sold separately) into the channels and then secure the boards to the channels with wood screws (provided in your channel kit). The result is a warm and fully private, contemporary, horizontal wood fence that has the strength and endurance of an aluminum fence. The slip fence allows you to easily replace the boards should they shrink or warp over time.
