The Diamond Spire Gardenia, from the Southern Living Plant Collection, is an innovative gardenia with a distinctive columnar growth habit, and fragrant single-form blooms in cycles from late-Spring to Fall. The evergreen foliage is deep-green and has pronounced veining, which makes for year-round structure in the landscape as low-hedges, accents, foundation plantings, in mass-plantings, or in containers. Diamond Spire is landscape hardy down to USDA zone 7, below zone 7 this plant should be grown in containers/planters that can be moved indoors during the winter. ---------- This item includes Two 2.5 Quart Diamond Spire Gardenia Shrubs (live plants) in plastic pots with soil. The pots will be wrapped in a poly bag to retain moisture and hold any soil that shakes lose in shipping. The plant will be shipped in a cardboard box that has been designed to hold the plant in place to reduce any chance of damage in transit. As soon as the plant arrives it should be un-packaged, un-bagged, and watered. --------These plants ship from the Gulf Coast of Alabama. We recommend that customers outside of the southeastern United States order during the milder times of year (Spring/Fall) to prevent heat/cold stress during transit.
