A long period of striking summer flower color, attractive fall foliage, superior bark exfoliation, good disease and insect resistance and good drought tolerance all combine to make the Natchez crape myrtle a favorite planting for either formal or informal landscapes. It is highly recommended for planting in urban and suburban areas. In the fall, the leaves turn a vivid red-orange. The Natchez is also one of the tallest crape myrtles reaching between 20 to 30 ft. Like other crape myrtles, the Natchez is very hardy and exhibits a high mildew resistance. It is cold tolerant in USDA Zones 7-9. This plant is shipped in a #3 pot with a minimum tree height of 18 inches.
