Fun in the Sun is a new Grandiflora from renounced hybridizer Christian Bedard that maintains its color to the end and provides a delightfully fruity scent, inviting butterflies and other pollinators to the garden. It's a true English-style rose that contains 60-85 petals in each of its 3-4" flower heads, appearing in clusters of 5 or 6 blooms per stem. True to its name, Fun in the Sun thrives in full sun with thorough watering early in the day. These bare root roses are shipped in the spring, allowing you to plant them while they are still dormant. Bareroot roses should be planted as soon as possible. If you are unable to plant your bareroot roses within a few days of receiving them, heel them in where you want to plant them. Dig a trench deep and wide enough to hold the roots and about 2-thirds of the top of your roses, place the roses in the trench and cover with soil until you are able to plant properly.
Each offer includes one dormant bare root rose bush
Plant in full sun to partial shade in well drained, humus enriched soil
Spreads 48 inches wide and grows 40 to 54 inches tall
Has an old fashioned looking rose cluster with over 60 petals, measuring up to 4 inches in diameter
Removing spent blooms will encourage more flowers; Prune dramatically in early spring, after the danger of frost has passed and before new growth has begun and remove any dead or damaged branches
Water early in the day to avoid wet conditions into the night which can cause issues with fungus and disease, but do not over water as roses do not like to be in overly moist soil
