The Red Dragon Japanese Maple offers spectacular shades of red foliage throughout the growing season. Its leaves are bright, cherry red in spring, mature to burgundy red in Summer and then turn crimson red in the fall. The leaves' textured, lacy look makes them highly prized in the garden. This compact, slow-growing tree can be grown in containers. It also works well in shade and woodland gardens. Red Dragon grows better in Sunny locations than other dissectum types.
