Magenta Northern Belle Crape Myrtle is a hot new color from a hot new crape myrtle series. The Northern Belle series of crape myrtles is an ideal addition to those who want a southern feel to a zone 6 garden. It is incredibly hardy for a crape myrtle. You can expect it to thrive all the way up through zone 6, where it produced tons of midsummer magenta colored flowers in our test garden. In cooler zones it dies back to the ground and grows new each spring, and in warmer zones, it'll grow taller, possibly up to 5 feet tall.
