Papaver Orientale Harlem is an Oriental poppy with huge burgundy-rose flowers. Its large, crepe-paper-like flowers grow in abundance on shapely, bush like plants. Harlem flowers heavily in early summer, then reblooms in late summer. Easy to grow and maintain, Oriental poppies add bold color, sophisticated flower form and a long bloom time to gardens and landscapes. They create a dramatic effect in the garden or landscape when planted in groups. Deer tend to avoid these plants.
