Integrated A by D D by A Converter - Analog XLR RCA to AES EBU or SPDIF Output A cost-effective converter for almost all stereo A/D and D/A dutiesThe ADA stereo 24-bit 96kHz 1U rackmount unit that produces an AES/EBU or SPDIF output from a balanced or unbalanced analogue stereo input and a stereo balanced or unbalanced output from an incoming AES/EBU or SPDIF input. Designed to complement CEDAR's award-winning DNS-series and Duo-series hardware modules as well as CEDAR Cambridge the ADA offers four sync modes professional and formats emphasis on/off user-selectable input levels of up to 27dBu and a maximum output level of 24dBu. With both professional XLR and phono analogue inputs and outputs the ADA is usable in almost all analogue and digital environments. With a dynamic range of greater than 110dB and a signal to noise ratio of better than 109dBfs it's suitable for all but the very most demanding converter tasks. Master ModeThe clock signals are generated internally by an on-board master clock at a userselectable rate: 32kHz 44.1kHz 48kHz 64kHz 88.2kHz or 96kHz. Slave ModeIf a digital signal is present at the selected digital input the ADA synchronises to it. If no such signal is present no output is generated. Auto ModeIf a digital signal is present at the selected digital input the ADA synchronises to it. If no such signal is present the ADA uses its internal master clock at the userselected sample rate.
