Having a lid prevents accidental spills. It keeps contents clean and guards against skimming. It has a food grade EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) gasket provides a secure seal. The tear strip creates a tamper-evident seal when placed on a pail (with hand or mallet) and cannot be removed until the tear-tab is torn off. Once the tear strip is removed, the lid can still be used, but will not be tamper-evident. This lids fits 3 different 5 gallon buckets (SKU 954434, 954435 and 161932). Lid fits snugly and takes pressure to apply by hand. The pull spout pulls up for easy pouring.
